Originally, the thermo-adhesive backing served exclusively as a simplification for the sewing. It was temporarily fixed by flat iron.
Today, the thermo-adhesive backing is enough and sewing is not necessary anymore.
The patch is fixed permanently by using a heat-press. It is pressed for 12-18 seconds at 180°.
Nevertheless, we recommend to test the reaction on the chosen surface before and as maybe the case to put a piece of textile between the press and the patch.
